Ink Stains of the Apocalypse: Sarah "Idea"

So, Sarah is a character that I was waiting to introduce for a while since I finished the John story. Sarah was actually the character that I really wanted to start this book, actually, this series, with. In reality, with John, I felt like it was more of a presentation, an epilogue. It wasn't really something that I envisioned as a long-term character. Sarah, however, was always intended to be the principal character in all this. It doesn't mean I don't love John, but Sarah was the focus for this story.

Sarah was an idea, as I previously shared in my blog, inspired by how my sister would survive in an apocalyptic world. Sarah's background is quite interesting, detailing how she was able to grow up within this world of zombies and survival. I wanted to emphasize the importance that she was born into this world. My thought process involved watching many TV shows about zombies, but this book is particular because it delves into the details of many years passing afterward and what happens if someone grows up in this society.

For me, this Sarah character, and where I hope that she will go—well, I know where she goes, but my hope within the continuation is that Sarah will be the character that ties all the other characters together. She will be the central piece of this series, and for me, it is one of the most important parts of working on that. I'm not going to share more because what I'm planning to do with my blog for this one is, for each chapter, without trying to spoil too much, to explain why I came up with the idea, why I started there, and why it was important to develop this character in this way.

That's going to be the objective of this blog. I'll write each point and explain the chapters. I hope you come back to read more of what I have to share.
